Gonçalo is 34, Portuguese and his work included the famous Digital Nomad Village in Ponta do Sol (Madeira), Digital Nomads Madeira Island success with thousands of nomads per month, Cape Verdian new island project to attract remote workers, being also the founder of other projects like Remote Europe. Furthermore, Gonçalo’s been recognized as a top remote work influencer, industry authority and conference speaker.

NomadX will become a community centric brand, focusing on creating unique experiences in incredible locations throughout the world. Community is at the centre of all human lives, so NomadX will play a key role in the nomad community world by helping develop new communities with a strong positive local impact focus while creating deep relationships between nomads, expats and locals.

Community is so important to us that we will ask you to help us decide on key aspects of NomadX like, “where should we go next?”. Hope you are ready for some tough decisions.

We are focusing on the locations with a strong community like Lisbon, Porto, Ericeira, Algarve, Madeira and Cape Verde while opening new communities soon with governmental coordination in beautiful and wild locations to be announced soon.

NomadX will relaunch the website in early 2022, adjusted to our community-centric approach. Also in 2022, we will start organizing events, experiences in unknown destinations, and so much more to build and make our community worth sharing.

To complement this strategic merger, we recently signed a strategic partnership / joint venture agreement with Flatio where they will be the strategic NomadX accommodation partner in all new EU markets that we invest in.

Dave Williams, NomadX Co-Founder, remains passionate about the business and future opportunities. So, Dave will continue assisting the business in a smaller capacity as a business advisor and brand ambassador as well as helping with new business, PR and strategy going forward.
